Terms and Conditions

By using the services of Manny Phone Shop, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the repair services, hardware sales, and all related interactions with our business.

1. Service Agreement
When you bring your device to Manny Phone Shop for repair, we will diagnose and attempt to repair it to the best of our ability. However, given the nature of electronic devices, there is a possibility that repairs may not succeed or that issues may arise during the repair process. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge that Manny Phone Shop is not responsible for any pre-existing faults or additional damage that may occur during the repair process, except in cases of gross negligence on our part.

2. Customer Responsibility for Pre-existing Conditions
Any pre-existing issues or faults that were not disclosed to us prior to repair will not be our responsibility. If a device was already non-functional or only partially working when brought in, Manny Phone Shop is not liable for any further issues or inability to repair the device. The customer accepts all risks involved in repairing damaged or malfunctioning devices.

3. Risk of Loss or Damage
We take precautions to protect your property while in our care. However, if you do not collect your repaired hardware within 30 days after being notified, we will not be liable for any loss, damage, or misplacement of the item. After this period, uncollected items may be considered abandoned and will be disposed of, sold, or recycled at our discretion.

4. No Guarantee of Repair Success
While we strive to provide the highest quality repair service, we cannot guarantee that every device can be repaired. In cases where the repair is unsuccessful due to unforeseen circumstances or hardware failure, we are not responsible for refunding service fees already incurred.

5. Hardware Warranty and Liability
Any new hardware purchased from Manny Phone Shop may come with a manufacturer’s warranty. We are not responsible for damages or defects caused by misuse, improper installation, or mishandling of hardware after purchase. Warranty claims are subject to the terms set by the manufacturer.

6. Data and Personal Information
It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all data on their devices before bringing them in for repair. Manny Phone Shop is not responsible for the loss of any data, including contacts, photos, documents, or other files, during the repair process.

7. Payment Terms
Full payment is required upon completion of repairs or at the time of hardware purchase. If a customer fails to pay for services or hardware, Manny Phone Shop reserves the right to retain possession of the device until payment is made in full.

8. Uncollected Devices
Devices that are not picked up within 30 days of notification of repair completion will be considered abandoned. Manny Phone Shop reserves the right to charge storage fees or dispose of uncollected items, as permitted by law. Any liability for loss or damage to unclaimed property is waived after this period.

9. Limitation of Liability
Manny Phone Shop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from repair services, including but not limited to loss of data, business, or profit.

10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the province of Saskatchewan and applicable Canadian federal laws. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
